If you live in Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia or West Virginia there is a state tax-free weekend on clothing, shoes and school supplies – up to a certain limit. You can check what your state limits are here.
I have gathered up some of the sales and discounts that caught my eye in this weekend’s shopping edit.
The shopping edit contains commissionable links where we will make commission at no extra cost to you if you shop through our links.
The Dermstore Anniversary sale runs from August 7th through August 17th. You can get up to 26% off with code “SISTER.” They will be running their main sale and you can get the discount without our promo code, but you get an extra 1% with our code…so we are kind of a big deal.
The best deals during this event are always the Best of Dermstore kits. The kits contain several different items around a certain theme and are usually worth at least 3x what you pay. Even more when you buy at a discount! I love buying them because they are great for travel and I like trying new things!
There are a lot of other of my favorite brands on sale – like Sunday Riley for 26% off. I recommend just going to the main sale page and filtering out by brand!
Sephora: 20% off most foundations – ends 8.8.22
Unfortunately, Tom Ford is not included, which is my all time favorite foundation. However, there are a lot of brands included, like the YSL Skin Tint I have been wearing all summer. I like it because it is light on the skin, hydrates and gives me a glow but it does not look like I am wearing foundation. I use shade 6!
Use code “HOWL15” for 15% off all Westman Atelier products.
If I recall, there is only one other time of the year where they markdown their denim to 30% off — this is a great deal. Their denim goes up to a size 22/24 in women’s. Missy and Kelly love their denim — especially their denim shorts. Ihe good thing about shopping at Abercrombie is that their return process is so easy. You will get credit/refund back as soon as it ships or you can return in store.
Abercrombie has two different types of jeans: Curve Love and Classic Fit. The only difference according to the measurements is that Curve Love are cut wider in the hip. They do not work for me because I have narrow hips, but they do work for Missy!
My favorite gauze shirt is on sale! All colors, too! This rarely happens! I love this shirt because it is so soft and goes with everything. It can be dressed up with a cardigan or you can wear with leggings. Most of all, it is just comfortable. I have three colors and sized down in two of the shirts and took my true size in one. I would say it depends on whether or not you have a big chest on what size to get. If you are not sure, check the reviews! I also love the slim-straight jeans and their button-up shirts. Would be a great time to stock up on work clothes!
Rebecca had a sleepover last night, so I am not going to be able to finish this post — they woke up so much earlier than I anticipated. Haha — sorry!
